What color is PANTONE 7719?
There once was a color named PANTONE 7719
It was a dark and rich shade of green
It looked like the sea or a forest of pine
Or a crocodile's skin when it's mean
It was used in many Pantone products
Like guides and chips and plastics
It had a formula and a code
And some harmonies and shades that were fantastic
But one day it met its match
A color that was brighter and bolder
It was PANTONE 7719 XGC
An extended gamut version that was colder
It had more cyan and less yellow
And it made PANTONE 7719 look dull
It stole its spotlight and its glory
And it made it feel like a gull
So PANTONE 7719 decided to fight back
And challenge its rival to a duel
They both picked their weapons and their allies
And prepared for a color battle that was cruel
But before they could start their clash
A voice came from above and said "Stop!"
It was the Pantone Color Institute
And it had a message that made them drop
"Don't you see that you are both beautiful?
And you have your own place and role?
You are both part of the Pantone family
And you should work together to make a whole
You can complement each other and create contrast
Or you can blend and make a gradient
You can inspire designers and artists
And make their work more radiant
So please don't fight and don't be jealous
You are both unique and special
You are both PANTONE 7719
And you are both wonderful"
