Long ago, before the first sun rose upon the earth, the world was shrouded in eternal twilight. This world was ruled by an ancient and powerful race of celestial beings known as the Devas, who governed both the realms of light and shadow. Among them was Garuda, a being born of the sky itself, part eagle and part god, with golden feathers that shimmered like the sun and eyes that could pierce the veils of time. He was a protector of the heavens, swift and mighty, revered for his courage and unmatched strength.
But Garuda was not merely a creature of the skies. He was a keeper of great secrets, entrusted with the wisdom of the ancients - the knowledge that kept the balance of the world. It was said that within the deepest chambers of his heart, Garuda held a sacred flame, a sliver of wisdom so potent that it could change the course of existence itself.

Suparna, wings unfurled and sword in hand, stands before the rising sun, his form a beacon of hope and strength, ready to face any challenge with the light of destiny guiding him forward.
One day, in the quiet chambers of the celestial realm, Garuda was summoned by the Council of Elders. They were the ancient leaders of the Devas, beings of incredible power who had overseen the balance of the world for eons. The elders were troubled. A new force had emerged in the world, one that sought to shatter the delicate harmony they had preserved for millennia. It was the force of the Shadows, dark entities who had long lurked beneath the surface of creation, waiting for the right moment to seize control.
The Shadows, born from the primal chaos, had begun to stir once more, gaining strength and influence among the mortals below. They were led by a figure of great cunning, a being known as Suryan, who once walked the path of the Devas but had been cast out for his thirst for power and wisdom. Suryan had discovered a forgotten fragment of forbidden knowledge, a truth that could unravel the very fabric of the cosmos.
The Council of Elders knew that the only way to stop Suryan's rise was to exile this fragment of wisdom - this dangerous truth - forever. But the knowledge was too great, too sacred, to be destroyed. They needed someone who could carry it far away, beyond the reach of both mortals and gods.
And so, they turned to Garuda, the Sun Garuda, the keeper of the flame.
Garuda, though loyal to the Devas, had always been a creature of free will. He loved the skies and the winds, but above all, he cherished the wisdom that had been entrusted to him. To lose such a treasure, even for the sake of the world, was no simple task. Yet, he understood the gravity of the situation. He could not allow the knowledge to fall into the hands of the Shadows, for it would mean the end of all that was.
Reluctantly, Garuda agreed to the Council's request. But the elders, knowing that even Garuda's strength might falter in the face of such immense temptation, imposed one condition upon him. The wisdom, they said, must not be kept by Garuda alone. It must be entrusted to the stars themselves, hidden in the light of the sun, so that no being could ever claim it.

This Garuda, armed with a sword, appears as a guardian of nature, its presence commanding the landscape of blooming flowers while fiery energy burns brightly in the distance.
Thus, Garuda set forth on a perilous journey, carrying the sacred flame within him, with the weight of the universe upon his wings. He flew across the skies, through the lands of the Devas, past the realms of mortals, and into the heart of the Sun itself. There, he planted the wisdom at the very core of the sun, sealing it within the burning heart of the celestial sphere.
But as Garuda prepared to return to the heavens, a shadow emerged from the deep folds of time itself. It was Suryan, the fallen one, who had sensed the disturbance in the balance and now sought to claim the wisdom for himself. With a dark cry, he spread his wings of shadow and descended toward Garuda, intent on seizing the knowledge and bringing forth the age of darkness.
A great battle ensued in the skies above the sun. The heavens trembled as the Sun Garuda and Suryan clashed with fury and fire. Their wings beat with such power that storms ravaged the earth below. Garuda, wielding his strength and the brilliance of the sun's flame, fought with all his might. But Suryan was a master of the dark arts, and he wielded the forbidden knowledge with cunning and guile.
For a moment, it seemed as though the shadows would overcome the light. But Garuda, in a final act of sacrifice, released a burst of solar energy so intense that it pierced the very heart of Suryan. The fallen one screamed as the light of the sun consumed him, and with a final, fiery explosion, Suryan was cast into the void, never to return.
Garuda, battered and exhausted, was left hovering above the sun. The battle had cost him dearly. His wings were scorched, and his once radiant feathers now glowed dimly with the remnants of the fire. Yet, the wisdom was safe. It was sealed within the sun, beyond the reach of all who would seek it.

Amidst a snowy wilderness, the Thunderclaw Garuda stands defiant, wings outstretched and sword ready, a true warrior braving the elements in search of victory.
But the Council of Elders, seeing the great sacrifice Garuda had made, knew that the Sun Garuda could no longer remain as he once was. The wisdom he carried had left an indelible mark upon him, and the power of the sun had changed him forever. In gratitude for his bravery, the Elders granted Garuda a new purpose: to become the eternal guardian of the sun. No longer a mere creature of the heavens, he would now be the living embodiment of the sun itself, forever watching over the flame that contained the wisdom of ages.
And so, Garuda became the Sun Garuda, a being of light and fire, soaring through the skies, guarding the wisdom that had once been his alone. His wings spread across the heavens, creating the light of day, while the burning heart of the sun beat in time with the pulse of the universe. He became a legend, not only among the Devas but among mortals as well, a symbol of sacrifice, of the delicate balance between light and shadow, and of the eternal guardianship of knowledge.
Thus, the myth of the Sun Garuda was born - of the eagle who carried the wisdom of the gods and cast it into the heart of the sun, where it would remain hidden, its power beyond reach, for all eternity. And though the Shadows may rise again, they will never find what lies within the flame, for Garuda's watch is unyielding, and the wisdom he guards will never be forgotten.
