Who is a Pixie?
A pixie is a mythical creature of British folklore, especially in the regions of Devon and Cornwall.
Pixies are usually depicted as small, mischievous, and childlike beings who like to dance, play pranks, and inhabit ancient sites.
They are often associated with fairies, sprites, and other similar beings from Celtic mythology.
Some possible sources of the word pixie are the Swedish pyske, meaning 'small fairy', or the Proto-Brythonic *bɨx, meaning 'little'.
Pixies are also known by various local names, such as pisky, pixy, pixi, pizkie, piskie, or pigsie.
Pixies have a long history in British folklore, dating back to before the Christian era.
They were sometimes said to be the souls of children who died unbaptised, or the descendants of a prehistoric race that lived underground.
They have a friendly but sometimes troublesome relationship with humans, and they can be appeased with gifts of new clothes or cream.

What does a Pixie look like?
A pixie is a creature of fantasy
That likes to dance and play and prance
They are very small and hard to see
But you might catch a glimpse if you have a chance
A pixie has pointed ears and a pointed hat
And often wears a suit of green
They have wings like a butterfly or a bat
And can fly around without being seen
A pixie is mischievous and loves to tease
They might lead you astray or blow out your light
But they are not evil or mean to please
They just enjoy having fun in the night
A pixie is a part of British folklore
And has a Celtic origin, some say
They live in the woods or under the moor
And sometimes come out in the day
If you want to know more about pixies
You can search the web or read a book
But be careful not to make them angry
Or they might give you a nasty look.

Snargl Content MakerWhat is pixie gender?
Pixie gender is a tricky thing to explain
For pixies are not bound by human domain
They can change their form and appearance at will
And choose to be male, female, or something else still
Some pixies prefer to stick to one gender
Others like to mix and match and be more splendor
Some pixies don't care about gender at all
They just want to have fun and be merry and small
Pixies are not limited by biology or norms
They are free to express themselves in many forms
They are magical beings of folklore and fantasy
And they live in the high moorland areas of Devon and Cornwall
