Where does the Delta live?

The Delta is not a living thing, but a term used to describe a type of landform.

A delta is formed when a river flows into a larger body of water, such as a sea or an ocean, and deposits sediment at its mouth.

Some examples of deltas are the Nile Delta in Egypt, the Mississippi Delta in the United States, and the Ganges-Brahmaputra Delta in Bangladesh and India.

Deltas are important habitats for many plants and animals, as well as sources of freshwater, agriculture, and fishing for humans.
