Battle mage

A battlemage is a type of fantasy character who combines magic and melee combat.
They are usually skilled in both swordplay and spellcasting, and can use their abilities to enhance their physical prowess or unleash devastating attacks.
Battlemages are often found in fantasy role-playing games, such as Final Fantasy, where they are sometimes called red mages or mystic knights.
