Zombie

A zombie is a creature that is dead but not quite
It wanders around with a hunger and a bite
It has no mind, no soul, no will
It only knows how to kill and kill

Some say it's a virus, some say it's a curse
Some say it's the result of a scientific experiment gone worse
But whatever the cause, the effect is the same
A horde of undead that feel no pain

They are slow, they are dumb, they are easy to outrun
But they are also relentless, they never stop, they are always on the hunt
They can infect you with a scratch, a bite, or a drop of blood
And then you will join them, in their endless flood

So if you ever see a zombie, don't try to be a hero
Just run away as fast as you can, or find a place to lay low
And hope that someone will find a cure, or a way to end this nightmare
Before the zombies take over the world, and leave it in despair
