What color is Turquoise?
Turquoise is a color that is based on a mineral of the same name.
It is a mixture of pale blue and green or blue with a small amount of yellow.
Turquoise can be semitranslucent to opaque, and it may have dark splotches or veins of matrix running through it.
Turquoise is derived from the French word for Turkish, because the mineral was first brought to Europe through Turkey.
