What are the examples of Tan color in life?

Tan color is a pale tone of brown that is often associated with skin color, sunbathing, leather, wood and sand.

It is a neutral color that can match well with many other colors.

Some examples of tan color in life are:
  • Sandy tan is a light yellowish tan color that resembles the color of sand.
    And it's found on beaches, in deserts and sand dunes.

  • Tan (Crayola) is an orangish tan color that was formulated by Crayola in 1958 as a crayon color and in 1990 as a marker color.
    Such color can be apricots and peaches, and some animals, for example foxes and lions.

  • Windsor tan is a dark brownish tan color that was first recorded in 1925.
    It is found on some leathers, such as saddles and boots, and some fabrics, such as tweed and corduroy.

  • Tuscan tan is a medium grayish tan color that is similar to the color of Tuscan red clay.
    It can be seen on some buildings and pottery in Tuscany, Italy, and some foods, such as bread and cheese.
