Air Force Blue is a shade of blue that is used by the United States Air Force as one of its official colors.

It is also the name of a type of men's clothing that is worn by Air Force personnel as part of their service dress uniform.

Air Force Blue men's clothing consists of a long-sleeved shirt, trousers, a tie, and a jacket, all made of polyester and wool blend fabric.

The shirt has a dress collar, two chest pockets, and shoulder loops for rank insignia.

The trousers have a straight leg and a front crease.

The tie is a solid blue color and matches the shade of the shirt.

Air Force Blue men's clothing is intended to convey a professional and dignified appearance, as well as to reflect the heritage and traditions of the Air Force.

The color was adopted in 1947, when the Air Force became a separate branch of the military.

Air Force Blue men's clothing can be accessorized with various items, such as hats, belts, shoes, gloves, and medals.

The most common hat is a peaked cap with a silver band and a metal badge.

The belt is a black leather one with a silver buckle.

The shoes are black leather oxfords or pumps.

The gloves are white cotton or leather.

Air Force Blue men's clothing is not only worn by Air Force members, but also by some civilians who admire or support the Air Force.

These items are popular among Air Force fans, veterans, and families.

They can also be used as gifts or souvenirs for special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or holidays.

The Air Force dress blues, also known as the service dress uniform, are the formal attire worn by airmen of the United States Air Force to distinguish themselves from the other services.

The dress blues consist of the following items:
  • A three-button coat with silver-colored buttons featuring a design known as "Hap Arnold wings," matching trousers and either a service cap or flight cap, all in Shade 1620, also known as Air Force Blue.
The coat has four pockets, two on the chest and two on the lower front, and is worn with a light blue shirt and a herringbone patterned necktie.

  • For officers, the coat also has silver metallic sleeve braid and hard shoulder board insignia from the officer's mess dress uniform.
For enlisted personnel, the coat has dark blue mohair sleeve braid and sewn-on cloth rank insignia on the sleeves.

  • For both officers and enlisted personnel, the coat also has a nametag and US lapel insignia on the right and left side respectively, as well as various awards and decorations on the chest.

  • The trousers have no cuffs and are worn with a blue belt with a silver tip and buckle.
The shoes are black and polished.

  • The service cap or flight cap is also in Air Force Blue and has a silver-colored metal cap device with the Hap Arnold wings.
The service cap has a visor and is worn tilted to the right, while the flight cap has no visor and is worn slightly to the right with the front edge parallel to the ground.

The Air Force dress blues are designed to present a sleek and professional appearance, and are worn for official functions, ceremonies, and formal occasions.
